CHOICE (A):

Day 1 Depart USA

Overnight flight to Athens, Greece.

Day 2 Arrive Athens

Arrive at Athens airport, where you’ll be met by Tourlite representatives and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 3 Athens

Half-day morning city tour includes highlights of Athens and the Acropolis.

Day 4             Athens

The entire day is free. Recommending a visit to Plaka, the Monasteraki Flea Market, or a funicular ride to Lycabettos Hill for lunch and a panoramic view of Athens.

Day 5 Athens (Cruise)

Early morning transfer to the local port for a full-day of cruising. You will visit the Saronic Gulf islands of Poros, Hydra and Aegina.  Lunch on board.

Days 6 & 7 Athens

Two full days to explore the city on your own. Your hospitality desk will recommend various optional tours.

Day 8 Athens/USA

Transfer to airport for flight to the USA. (Extend your stay, see our “By Design” Section).

Day 1 to Day 3

Day 4 Nauplion/Olympia

Begin your Classical Tour to Argolis, via the Bay of Salamis and the Corinth Canal. Next stop is Mycenae to visit the Lion Gate and Beehive Tombs of King Agamemnon.  Proceed to Epidaurus, site of the world renowned amphitheater. Drive through the Central Peloponnese to Olympia, site of the first Olympic Games. Overnight in Olympia.

Day 5 Olympia/Delphi

Morning visit the impressive Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera and the museum, site of Greece’s greatest classical sculpture of all time, “Hermes” by Praxiteles. Drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, cross the Corinthian Bay and proceed to Delphi via Nafpactos and Itea. Overnight in Delphi.

Day 6 Delphi/Athens

Morning visit to the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, home of the “Oracle” and the Museum with the famous “Charioteer.”  Afternoon visit to the Monastery of Prophet Elias. Early evening return to Athens, via Levadia and Thebes.

Day 7 Athens

The entire day is free.

Day 8 Athens/USA

Transfer to the airport for your flight to the USA (Extend your stay, see our “By Design” Section).

Day 6 Delphi/Kalambaka

Morning visit to the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, home of the “Oracle” and the museum with the famous “Charioteer.”  Afternoon depart for Kalambaka, passing through numerous picturesque villages and typical towns of Central Greece.  Dinner and overnight at Kalambaka.

Day 7 Meteora/Athens

Morning visit to Meteora. Atop soaring stone pillars which seem to be suspended in midair stand ageless monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (Visit of Leonidas’ monument).

Day 8 Athens/USA

Transfer to airport for flight to the USA. (Extend your stay, see our “By Design” Section.)
