Day 1/Tue Depart USA

Overnight flight to Athens, Greece.

Day 2/Wed Arrive Athens

Arrive at Athens airport, where you’ll be met by Tourlite representatives and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 3/Thu Nauplion/Olympia

Begin your Classical Tour to Argolis, via the Bay of Salamis and the Corinth Canal.  Next stop is Mycenae to visit the Lion Gate and Beehive Tombs of King Agamemnon.  Proceed to Epidaurus, site of the world  renowned amphitheater. Drive through the Central Peloponnese to Olympia, site of
the first Olympic Games. Overnight in Olympia.

Day 4/Fri Olympia/Delphi

Morning visit the impressive Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera and the museum, site of Greece’s greatest classical sculpture of all time, “Hermes” by Praxiteles. Drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, cross the Corinthian Bay and proceed to Delphi via Nafpactos and Itea. Overnight in Delphi.Day 5/Sat Delphi/Athens Morning visit to the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, home of the “Oracle” and the Museum with the famous “Charioteer.”  Arrive in Athens early in the evening via the villages of Levadia and Thebes.

Day 6/Sun Athens

Half-day morning city tour includes highlights of Athens and an extended visit to the Acropolis, site of the famed Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum.  Day 7/Mon Cruise/Mykonos.  This morning you will be transferred to the port of Piraeus for embarkation on your cruise ship. Cruise to the island of Mykonos
with its jet-set atmosphere, white-washed buildings, sidewalk cafes and chic shops.

Day 8/Tue Kusadasi/Patmos Morning arrival in Kusadasi, Turkey, site of
one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World,” Ephessos. Continue to the island of Patmos and the Monastery of St. John, named after John the Divine, who received the Revelation here that forms the Last Book of the New Testament.

Day 9/Wed Rhodes

Full day on the Island of Roses, famed for its historic Old Town and great shopping.  Visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic Acropolis of Lindos (optional).Day 10/Thu Heraklion/Santorini Morning arrival at Heraklion, Crete, site of the Palace of Knossos, legendary home of the Minotaur. Afternoon sail to Santorini.  The village is perched on the rim of an ancient volcano and believed by many to be the site of the “Lost Continent of Atlantis.” Day 11/Fri Cruise/Piraeus/USA Morning arrival into the port of Piraeus. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight to the USA (Extend your stay, see our “By Design” Section.)

 Day 10/Thu Heraklion/Santorini

1.  Add: $215-$285 U. S. and Greek airport taxes, 9/11 security fees and fuel surcharges, depending on airline used.  Weekend surcharges apply.  Add $400 high season airfare supplement departures May 27-Jun 10 & Sept. 01-06 when flying other than Olympic Airlines. 

2.  Add Port Taxes - 4-day cruise $490.

3.  "LAND ONLY RATES" - Without  International Airfare (NYC/ATH/NYC) deduct a) April - June 10 & September - October $740, b) June 11 - August 31 $1050 (No transfers provided on arrival and departure.

4.  Regardless of the hotel category you choose, cruise accommodations are based on two persons sharing an inside cabin with two lower beds or one double bed, private toilet and shower.  Higher cabin categories available at an additional cost.

5.  High Season Supplement on cruise as follows:  Tour departures Sept 05 - Oct. 17 Add p/p double $80.

6.  Itinerary sequence may vary depending on departure date.

7.  Any deviation will entail additional charges.
