Day 1/Sun Depart USA

Overnight flight to Athens, Greece.

Day 2/Mon Arrive Athens

Arrive at Athens airport, where you’ll be met by Tourlite representatives and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. 

Day 3/Tue Nauplion/Olympia

Begin your Classical Tour to Argolis, via the Bay of Salamis and the Corinth canal.  Stop in Mycenae to visit the Lion Gate and Beehive Tombs of King Agamemnon.  Proceed to Epidaurus, site of the world renowned amphitheater. Drive through the Central Peloponnese to Olympia, site of the
first Olympic Games. Overnight in Olympia. 

Day 4/Wed Olympia/Delphi

Morning visit the impressive Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera and the museum.  Drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, cross the Corinthian Bay and proceed to Delphi via Nafpactos and Itea. Overnight in Delphi.Day 5/Thu Delphi/Kalambaka Morning visit to the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, home of the “Oracle” and the museum exhibiting the famous “Charioteer”
sculpture. Afternoon departure for Kalambaka passing through many picturesque towns and villages of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight at Kalambaka.

Day 6/Fri

Meteora/Athens Morning visit to Meteora. Amid striking scenery, perched atop soaring stone formations, seemingly suspended in mid-air, are
ageless monasteries. As you ponder how these centuries-old structures were built, pause to view the priceless, exquisite specimens of Byzantine art that they protect. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit Leonidas’ monument) and the spa of Kammena Vourla. Arrive in Athens for overnight.

Day 7/Sat Athens

Half-day morning city tour includes highlights of Athens and extended visits to the Acropolis, site of the famed Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own.

Day 8/Sun Athens

A day to explore the city on your own. Your hospitality desk will recommend various optional tours.

Day 9/Mon Cruise/Mykonos

This morning you will be transferred to the port of Piraeus for embarkation on your cruise ship. Cruise to the island of Mykonos, noted for its jet-set atmosphere, whitewashed buildings, sidewalk cafes and chic shops.Day 10/Tue Kusadasi/Patmos Morning arrival in Kusadasi, Turkey, site of one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World,” Ephessos. Continue to the island of Patmos and the Monastery of St. John the Divine, who received the Revelation here that forms the Last Book of the New Testament.

Day 11/Wed Rhodes

Full day on the magnificent “Island of Roses,” famed for its historical Old Town and great shopping. Visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic Acropolis of Lindos (optional).

Day 12/Thu Heraklion/Santorini

Morning arrival at Heraklion, Crete, site of the Palace of Knossos, legendary home of the Minotaur. Afternoon sail to Santorini.  The village is perched on the rim of an ancient volcano and believed by many to be the “Lost Continent of Atlantis.”

Day 13/Fri Cruise/Piraeus/USA

Morning arrival into the port of Piraeus.  Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA.

3.  "During March, Oct. 29, and November the 4-night Classical tour will be operated Mondays and US departures will be on Saturday with one extra night in Athens.

4.  "LAND ONLY RATES" - Without International Airfare (NYC/ATH/NYC) deduct  a) March & November $450,  b) April - June 10 & September- October $740,  c) June 11 - August 31 $1050 (No transfers provided on arrival and departure).

5.  Regardless of the hotel category you choose, cruise accommodations are based on two persons sharing an inside cabin with two lower beds or one double bed, private toilet and shower.  Higher cabin categories available at an additional cost.

6.  High Season Supplement on cruise as follows:  Tour departures Aug 27 - Oct 15 add p/p double $80.
