Day 1/Mon Depart USA
Overnight flight to Athens, Greece.
Day 2/Tue Arrive Athens
Arrive at Athens airport, where you’ll be met by
Tourlite representatives and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the day at
leisure.
Day 3/Wed Athens
Half-day morning city tour includes highlights of
Athens and the Acropolis.
Days 4/Thu Athens
One full day to explore this fascinating city or
take an optional tour to Delphi or Argolis. Consult your hospitality desk
for details.
Day 5/Fri Athens/Cruise
Morning at leisure. Noon check out. This
afternoon you will be transferred to the port of Piraeus for embarkation on your
cruise ship. Enjoy the many shipboard activities or just relax and enjoy the
scenery while sailing to your first port of call.
Day 6/Sat Istanbul
Morning at sea. Enjoy the shipboard activities Or
just relax by the pool. This afternoon, arrive in Istanbul, crossroads of Europe
and Asia. Overnight onboard in Istanbul.
Day 7/Sun Istanbul
Today, explore this fascinating city.
Take an optional city tour to visit famous St. Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the
Topkapi Palace or visit the Grand Open Bazaars, the largest in the world and one
of the most famous. Late afternoon depart for Mykonos.
Day 8/Mon Mykonos
Morning at sea. Afternoon arrival at the
island of Mykonos with its jet-set atmosphere, whitewashed buildings, sidewalk
cafes and chic shops.
Late night sail to Patmos.
Day 9/Tue Patmos/Kusadasi
Morning arrival at Patmos, site of the
Monastery of St. John the Divine.
(Optional excursion to visit the Monastery is available.) In the a afternoon
sail to Kusadasi, Turkey, site of one of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient
World," Ephessos. Wander through the many famous Turkish Bazaars or tour
Ephessos (optional excursion).
Day 10/Wed Rhodes
A day on the Island of Roses, famed for
its historic Old Town, great shopping and the ancient site of the Colossus of
Rhodes. Visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic Acropolis of Lindos
(optional) or visit on your own the Valley of Butterflies and Kamiros.
Day 11/Thu Heraklion/Santorini
Morning arrival at Heraklion, Crete, site
of the Palace of Knossos, legendary home of the Minotaur. Afternoon sail
to Santorini. The village is perched on the rim of an ancient volcano and
believed by many to be the site of the Lost Continent of Atlantis.
Day 12/Fri Cruise/Piraeus/USA
Early morning arrival into the port of
Piraeus. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your
flight to the USA. (Extend
your stay, see our “By Design” Section).

Day 1/Sat Depart USA
Overnight flight to Athens, Greece.
Day 2/Sun Arrive Athens
Arrive at Athens airport, where you’ll be
met by Tourlite representatives and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the
day at leisure.
Day 3/Mon Athens
Half-day morning city tour includes
highlights of Athens and an extended visit to the Acropolis, site of the famed
Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum.
Day 4/Tue Mauplion/Olympia
Begin your Classical Tour to Corinth via
the Bay of Salamis and the Corinth Canal. Next stop is Mycenae to visit the Lion
Gate and Beehive Tombs of King Agamemnon. Proceed to Epidaurus, site of
the world renowned amphitheater with its phenomenal acoustics. Drive through the
Central Peloponnese to Olympia, site of the first Olympic Games. Overnight in
Olympia.
Day 5/Wed Olympia/Delphi
Morning visit the impressive Temple of
Zeus, the Temple of Hera and the museum, site of Greece’s greatest classical
sculpture, “Hermes” by Praxiteles. Drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia,
cross the Corinthian Bay and proceed to Delphi via Nafpactos and Itea. Overnight
in Delphi.
Day 6/Thu Delphi/Athens
Morning visit to the Sanctuary of Apollo
Pythios, home of the “Oracle” and the
Museum with the famous “Charioteer.” Arrive in Athens late in the
afternoon.
Day 7/Fri Athens/Cruise
Morning at leisure. Noon check out. This
afternoon you will be transferred to the port of Piraeus for embarkation on your
cruise ship. Enjoy the many shipboard activities or just relax and enjoy the
scenery while sailing to your first port of call.
