Day 1/Sat Depart USA

Depart the USA via overnight flight to Istanbul, Turkey.

Day 2/Sun Arrive Istanbul

Arrive at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, where you’ll be met by Tourlite representatives and escorted to your hotel.

Day 3/Mon Istanbul

Today’s full day tour begins with a cruise on the Bosphorus, the winding strait that separates Europe from Asia. In the afternoon visit the Mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent and the Grand Bazaar.

Day 4/Tue Istanbul

Morning visit to the St. Sophia Museum, the Blue Mosque, the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum, and the Hippodrome. After lunch, drive to the Asian side of the city and visit Camlica Hill, Beylerbeyi Palace, and a typical fisherman’s village.

Day 5/Wed Istanbul/Ankara/Cappadocia

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ankara. Visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum and the Mausoleum of Ataturk. After lunch drive to the mysterious Cappadocia region.

Day 6/Thu Cappadocia

Begin your exploration with a visit to the Goreme Valley, and the natural Citadel of Uchisar. Visit the Zelve Valley and the villages of Cavusin and Avanos. Continue with visits to the underground cities of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu.

Day 7/Fri Cappadocia/Ankara/Istanbul

Touring continues with a visit of Uchisar village and Urgup. Transfer to the Ankara Airport for your return flight to Istanbul.

Day 8/Sat Istanbul

At leisure.

Day 9/Sun Istanbul/USA

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Transfer to the airport for short flight to Izmir. Upon arrival in Izmir, transfer to your hotel in Kusadasi for overnight.

Today visit Ephessos, a city of antiquity, and the museum of Ephessos, Temple of Artemis and the Celsius Library. Next, visit the Shrine of Virgin Mary, where she spent her last years.

Day 7/Fri Kusadasi (Aphrodisias)

A full-day visiting the ancient center of Aphrodisias.

Day 8/Sat Kusadasi/Istanbul

Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Istanbul. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 9/Sun Istanbul/USA

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
