Day 1/Fri Depart
USA
Depart New York via overnight flight
to Cairo, Egypt.
Day 2/Sat Cairo
Arrive at Cairo airport where you will be
met by Tourlite representatives and escorted to your hotel. Overnight in
Cairo.
Day 3/Sun Cairo
Full-day excursion begins with a visit to
the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities.
Continue with visits to the Citadel of Salah El Din, Mohamed Ali Mosque
known as the Alabaster Mosque‚ Sultan Hassan Mosque and the oldest
bazaar of the Middle East, the Khan El Khalili. Lunch included. Continue
with a visit to one of the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx of Giza.
Balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 4/Mon Cairo/Aswan
Transfer to the airport for your flight
to Aswan. Upon arrival, transfer to your Nile
cruise ship. Or take an optional tour to Abu Simbel to explore the
enormous temples of Ramses II and his Queen, Nefertari. This great
monument was completely relocated in order to save it from the rising
waters of Lake Nasser. After lunch, sail on a “felucca” to view the Nile
Islands. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 5/Tue Aswan/KomOmbo/Edfu
Morning visit to the High Dam and the
Philae Temple. Afternoon sail to Kom
Ombo. After lunch, visit Kom Ombo Temple with its unique twin
Greco-Roman temples. Continue sailing to Edfu and overnight.
Day 6/Wed Edfu/Esna/Luxor
This morning a horse-drawn carriage will
take you to the Temple of Horus, the best preserved of the Egyptian
temples. Sail from Esna to Luxor. Afternoon at leisure to explore this
fascinating city. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 7/Thu Luxor
Tour of Luxor includes a morning visit to
the Valley of the Kings, the twin statues of the Colossi of Memnon and
the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day
8/Fri Luxor/Cairo
Disembarkation after breakfast and visit
the Temples of Luxor and Karnak on the East bank. Transfer to the
airport for your flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 9/Sat Cairo
Day at leisure. Explore the city, the
Pyramids area, the Bazaars or take an
optional tour to Memphis and Sakkara.Day
10/Sun Cairo/USA
Transfer to the airport for your flight
to New York or to another optional exciting
